My Story
I’m a marketer by profession. When I started this business in 2018, I wanted to build an e-commerce business of my own. Dropshipping was everywhere, and I spent weeks looking for a developer who could work within my budget.
Instead, I got conned several times. The one I still remember most clearly: I paid a deposit in Nairobi CBD, then returned to the office the next day to find they had moved. It took two weeks to track them to Mombasa Road, where they confidently insisted I pay additional fees before they would deliver a website.
That experience taught me what it feels like to be a business owner trying to find trustworthy technical help. It also gave me a problem I could not unsee. I spent years watching established professionals lose clients to competitors with better websites—not because those competitors were better at their work, but because they looked like it online. The gap between real-world excellence and digital perception became impossible to ignore.
Eventually, the last developer I met introduced me to WordPress. We started there: self-taught, practical, and determined to get better. We have been building with it ever since, learning through every project and improving with every client. Then the AI boom arrived, and the possibilities changed again.
